What is Rotary?

Rotary is a worldwide organization of more than 1.2 million business, professional, and community leaders. Members of Rotary clubs, known as Rotarians, provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

There are 33,000 Rotary clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas. Clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds. As signified by the motto Service Above Self, Rotary’s main objective is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world.

About our Club

altThe Rotary Club of Hudson Florida was chartered on August 11, 1973. Since then we have proudly served the needs of our Community, our District and the Worldwide efforts of Rotary International! Over the years, our small but mighty Club has contributed to many projects including; assisted in building the original Hudson High School Football Stadium, joined in the funding of the playground at Hudson Elementary School, contributed funds to HPH Hospice, CARES, the Volunteer Way and many other local non-profits, awarded scholarships to deserving Hudson High School graduates, sponsor the Hudson High School InterAct Club and donated more than $10,000.00 to the Polio Plus Program of Rotary International. We are proud of our many contributions and look forward to future opportunities for "SERVICE ABOVE SELF"!
